Plus 500 Bonuses/Promotions

Plus 500 advertises a Free Euro 25 bonus which does look very attractive at first as no credit card details or other methods of deposit are needed, simply to provide them with a valid mobile number to which they may send a 3 digit code which you will need to enter in the Plus500 depositing page to receive. Within the terms however, in small, very faint writing below the promotion, you are informed that you will need to accumulate 60 Trader points to do so.

In addition Plus 500 offers a bonus on a client’s first deposit which is not a percentage amount but instead is given as per certain stepping stones for total amount deposited as shown in the table below:

Plus500 comes across as a very organized and user-friendly broker that displays their offerings in a very organized and simplistic manner making it accessible and easy to navigate by the most novice of Traders.

As a market maker, Plus 500 makes its profit from the widening of the bid/ask spread and advertises no extra hidden commissions with the exception of the ‘Night Premium’ or ‘overnight charge’ as it is know by other brokers.

Plus 500 Languages

One great advantage with Plus 500 is the number of languages that their website is available in, making it accessible by almost all traders worldwide (note that certain features, such as the availability of a fax number may vary or not be available for all sites):

Minimum Deposit (Euro) Bonus Amount (Euro) Required TPoints
75 30 50
500 150 150
750 200 200
5000 1000 1000
7500 2000 2500

Note that the Bonus amount is only added to the account once the required number of Trader points has been reached.

Plus 500 Forex Trading Platforms

Plus 500 uses its own very user friendly and simple to use platform which you can download or use online via their web based Plus500.com platform. Plus 500 does not offer various accounts as other brokers may but instead uses one account for all traders and as such offers no incentive for persons depositing more money in terms of spread.

The platforms simplicity makes it easy to adapt and learn inside out in a relatively short period of time; in addition there is a short, under 3 minutes, tutorial to assist with the adaptation of the platform.

Plus500.com also offers a free unlimited demo account with live rates and all the utilities of a real account.

Plus 500 Review

Plus 500’s simplicity and ease of access makes navigating an easy process through their website and in addition an easy to use platform that comes can be available via the web makes Plus500 a very attractive broker for beginners and intermediate traders. Their one platform for all accounts makes the trading process more straight through. The company’s leverage only ranges up to 50:1; significantly lower than most brokers that offer similar trading services. Plus500 does provide certain information on trading with the aid of various numerical examples but would not be considered to have an ‘education’ section as such.

The one major disadvantage with regards to Plus 500 is the fact that you are unable to get on the spot help (e.g. through a live chat) but instead have to send an email back and forth to their support department which can greatly reduce efficiency. Moreover Plus 500 has no telephone number to reach the company on, simply an address and a fax number which makes communication with Plus500.com very limited and inefficient. On request for a phone number the response to the email was that a phone number was not needed and that email was good enough. Personally I would not risk my money with a broker who appears to be hiding behind an email address and that refuses to supply me with a phone number as such issues for me raise a red flag.
